Large Animal Rescue Workshop
Sunday, June 4th from 9 - 3
We are offering a large animal rescue workshop on Sunday June 4th from 9 - 3 here at the store. We have very limited seating so we must have an RSVP for attendance. Please call the store to get your name on the list. We have invited local firefighters first, so as of right now, we have a total of 20 available seats left. We may be able to take more than 20 depending upon how many more firefighters confirm their attendance so if we fill up, we will put people on a waiting list and may be able to accommodate more.
Vicki Schmidt, a Maine State Fire Instructor, will be facilitating. The workshop is designed to help you, your farm and your local first responders to be better prepared for a large animal emergency incident. This program includes a combination of lecture, demonstrations, and light participant participation.
There will be snacks, drinks and lunch supplied and the workshop is free.
